How are the Advisory Boards curated?
The first cohort of boards are only being offered to existing Commit Action clients. Our coaching team will meet internally to curate boards around several criteria, prioritizing a variety of industries while avoiding conflicts of interest.
We will use experience level, organization size, and ultimate business objectives to create alignment with your board fellows where you share similarities. We will use industry and skillsets to create powerful differentiation, so your can benefit from the magic of fresh, outside perspectives.

How do the Quarterly Offsites work and where are they hosted?
Advisory Boards revolve around a formal quarterly planning process. We run an all day virtual event, conducted over Zoom, in the spirit of a full day “offsite” strategy retreat.
That means you should prepare to spend the day away from your business. And if you’re not already doing a quarterly day of strategic thinking… you should be!
We require board participants to block out the day and remove all distractions to commit to the process.
We recommend you treat the day like an offsite and prepare a focused, relaxed, and mentally nourishing environment for yourself to work from.

One full day “digital offsite” to plan the quarter. Then your coach facilitator will set up a few strategic check-ins placed throughout that quarter…. nothing onerous, just a few hours sprinkled at key points across your calendar.

We’re going to curate the boards carefully. We’ll ask you to work with your board and evaluate it based on the results you create, not the initial “vibe”.
We will have rules of engagement all Board Participants have to agree to, and expect everyone to show up professionally and contributing.
We’re sensitive to interpersonal issues of course, and will work to solve any problems that come up. We’ll move you if we think it’s the best thing. We may not have another board ready to go but can put you back on the waitlist.

The payment to join an Advisory Board is $1,000 for the quarter… but the cost is much higher: you need to show up ready and willing to contribute.

Then this isn’t for you. Every entrepreneur on earth should be carving out a day a quarter for deep thinking, strategy and planning! But we will have some other dates available for future cohorts.
